Increased screen time, academic pressure, technology improvement and other factors have contributed greatly to the declining physical activity rates in children. Parents, teachers and the society are equally responsible for instigating the importance of daily physical activity in these kids. Not even 50% of kids involve themselves in the required 60 minutes of physical activity every day. Support and awareness regarding this is crucial to prevent an obesity epidemic in near future.
